Hello!

There are some very exciting things happening at the Historic Inns of Annapolis and thought you would like to know. Our lovely 250-year-old property is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation. We have completed our renovation of our 124 overnight rooms and key public areas. I invite you to stop by and visit - you will like what you see!

Living in Annapolis, I am inspired by the preservation of American History by which Annapolis is well known.  Historic Inns of Annapolis is a part of that tradition with each of our three buildings dating back to the 1700’s. While we have added modern conveniences to our guestrooms, we have maintained the spirit of colonial hospitality.

In all, we are planning the following multi-million dollar renovations to create a Four Star/Diamond property, completion date is Spring 2006:

-          All overnight rooms - decorated in rich Federalist colors and furniture.

-          Wireless high-speed internet connection in all overnight rooms.

-          Business Centers in the Governor Calvert House and the Maryland Inn.

-          Beautifully renovated atrium in the Governor Calvert House - with 1,800 square feet of new

-          hardwood flooring.

-          New hardwood flooring in the lobby of the Maryland Inn.

-          Concierge & Customer Service staff in the Maryland Inn.

-          New carpeting in the lobby of the Governor Calvert House.

-          Internet Café available 24 hours with complimentary high-speed internet access and coffee in the Governor Calvert House.

-          New banquet chairs throughout the hotel.

-          The addition of our "Starbucks" coffee house, to be located in the spectacular King of France Tavern room of the Maryland Inn. Completion of this project is fall of 2006.

Our conference facilities are suitable for meetings of 10 to 250.  With over 12 meeting rooms and 6,300 square feet, we have a variety of unique and comfortable locations for your group needs.

All of our meeting space has windows, some with fireplaces and other with chandeliers.

There is a never-ending list of entertainment, recreational activities and great restaurants all within walking distance from our doorstep.  Whether the preference is a leisurely stroll along quaint sidewalks, an afternoon sailboat race on the Chesapeake, or a visit to the United States Naval Academy,  Annapolis will delight all your guests!
