The WSM predicts flow, sediment, nitrogen, and phosphorus, including separate species of nitrogen and phosphorus, and changes in these outputs given changes in the inputs describing watershed management. It is designed to allow for sensitivity to nutrient inputs to the land, such as atmospheric deposition, fertilizer, and manure, and also to structural BMPs that can be input as a percentage reduction.
